Since the State Theatre in Traverse City re-opened its doors in November 2008, they have sold nearly 250,000 tickets.

To say "thanks" to the community for its support, the theatre is opening its doors up to everyone for a week of free films.

You still need a ticket to get in even though they are free. They are waiting to see who the 250,000th customer will be and that lucky person wins a year's worth of free movies to the State, plus a free pass to this year's TC Film Festival. To get a ticket, stop by the theatre or call the box office.
